Braces are like a mouth jail. Extremely painful and annoying when you intially get going, but once you settle into it your obliged to leave it. well thats what i hope.

I'm not going to lie and say it won't hurt, but it does get better, and even close to normal. It depends on how crooked your teeth are, but if they're close to being in a straight line it won't hurt as much
